Needlings’ creator, Heather Saunders, is a Canadian fibre artist, illustrator, and writer located in Hamilton, Ontario.

Inspired by vintage books, folk art, nature and whimsy, Heather works primarily in felt, watercolours and loose threads to create handcrafted plush characters, and illustrated pieces.

Featured at One of a Kind Show Toronto, Kid Icarus Toronto and other small retailers throughout the US and Canada since 2007, Heather’s work is currently available through custom commission via contact at heather@needlings.ca or occasional shows and markets in the GTHA.
